Anglo Swiss Metals Ltd is involved in the international trade and finance of semi-finished and finished steel products.  The group purchases steel directly from several steel mills and markets the products to an expansive customer base located throughout Europe and the rest of the world. As a mill-direct buyer, we are able to provide excellent pricing to our customers.

Principal products traded include:

• prime and secondary hot rolled plate of alloyed and non-alloyed carbon steel grades;
• commercial-grade hot rolled coil;
• hot dipped galvanised coils;
• cold rolled coils;
• steel tubes and pipes;
• deformed reinforcing bar; and
• carbon-steel wire rod

Anglo Swiss Metals Ltd. eliminates the risk associated with trade by handling the full range of the trade operation from the placement of the order with the mill in conformity with the customers’ required specification, to the pre-production financing required by the producing mills, to the delivery of the cargo by sea to the end-user.  Unlike many traders handling steel products, Anglo Swiss Metals Ltd. buys its steel directly from the producing mills, which eliminates the confusion and complications often associated with transactions involving multiple parties in a contract chain.

Steel Trading Solutions AG supplies several Ukrainian steel mills with coking coal in excess of 400’000 mt annually.  By effectively leveraging its raw-material supply relationships, Steel Trading Solutions AG and Tarkin AG enjoy a successful track record of timely contract execution on their worldwide steel shipments.  Volume measured in metric tons shipped exceeded 250’000 mt in 2002, 300’000 mt in 2003, 415’000 mt in 2004, 385’000 mt in 2005, and 325’000 mt in 2006.
